A True Walk Off (War with JBF)

I'm currently in Providence Rhode Island for work, but the war with JBF knows no borders. JBF has been trolling all my posts for the last few weeks and he finally delivered his first shot. These pics are terrible as I hurried to take them right as I was leaving for the airport.  I'll have a more complete post on my return.

First was this ominous note.

What could it be......

A whole bundle of Bob Walk's.  I'll have some better pictures when I get home, but after a quick count it was 316 total Walk's.  You are a crazy man.  I'm pretty sure I own every Bob Walk now.

The good thing is I've fired back multiple times.  I'm not going down without a fight.

  1. I checked Beckett, and can't believe that Walk only has 157 cards listed there.

    1. Ha. I like to think you wear a Flair robe around the house.

  5. Is that a subtle Stone Cold Steve Austin reference there? "It's Bob Walk 3:16...it says I just whooped your ass!"

  6. So many Walks! I have MLB Network this year, and I have had the pleasure of watching parts of several Pirates games this season, Walk is pretty good (better than Bert Blyleven, for sure)!

    1. Walks biggest fault is not understanding the new stats. He can very funny at times which helps make up for the stats.

    2. I think most former players from the 80s and early 90s are more interested in the intangibles, which is totally fine in my book. I think advanced stats are great, but for now I prefer the broadcasts to be more about the "inside baseball" of baseball.

    3. The problem is the well runs dry of good stories after a few months. Now we are stuck with how the game is suppose to be played...

  7. Impressive. I remember digging through boxes looking for Bob Walks for you and only coming up with five or six. 316? I'm still trying to process this number.

    1. You can only send 316 Bob Walk's if you are clinically insane. Just be thankful you don't have those kind of ideas running through your mind.
