My First Look at the New Stadium Club

2014 Topps Stadium Club Starling Marte Auto

I've been wanting to get my hands on some Stadium Club as soon as I found out it was released.  The box prices are sill around $100 mark so I figured I would cherry pick a few singles to hold me over until the price drops.  This Marte auto only set me back around $7.  Overall it has a pretty nice look with the extra bonus of the throwback uniforms.

If you like what you see Chris from Nachos Grande is hosting a small break very soon.  Still several slots open so it may be a cheap way to see if you like the set.

  1. Hi - just opened a couple SC boxes and put a little care package together for you. No Scurvy-mate autos pulled but do have a few nice cards for you. Collation is terrible for set building. Will have this in the mail probably tomorrow.

  2. Far superior in design to most 2014 Topps issues. I am hopeful that NG's break hooks me up.

    1. I'm excited for the break. I bought a few slots to get a good start on the set. I think I'm going to open a box myself soon.

  3. Man that's a nice card. I've been looking at some of them, but don't think I'll be getting any real soon, unless I find some cheap.

    1. I've seen a few of the autos going off really cheap. Guess it just depends who you are looking for. I'm assuming we'll see a drop in box price before too long as well.

  4. Nice card, Matt. Do you think that Topps needed another set to come back from the dustbin of history?

    1. I love Stadium Club so I'm hoping it sticks around. The price will probably need to come down some for it to work. It would be nice to see Topps come up with a nice new set, but if it is going to be a rehash I'm happy to see SC.
