Post #100 and a Book Auto

I just noticed that tonight is my 100th post.  Just wanted to thank everybody for checking out the blog.  I've had a blast getting to know all of you and talking cardboard.  My initial goal when I started Bob Walk the Plank was to establish trade partners.  My collecting habits before the blog had become stale.  Basically I was just accumulating cards off eBay.  I love adding to my collection, but was looking for some change.  The blog reenergized my collecting and has opened up a whole new world to me.  The whole blogging community is some of the most giving people I have ever come across.

Now to a new card in my collection.

2013 America's Pastime Book Dual Auto Gerrit Cole/Zack Wheeler 8/15

Not the most visibly appealing card in the world but it is two autos of up and coming pitchers.  The big selling point for me on the card was the selling price.  I won this card for $22!  Cole auto's by themselves usually sell for well above that amount.  The extra bonus is that these autos look to be on card. Sometimes my eyes play tricks on me and I don't notice the sticker, but as far as I can tell this is the real deal.  

The Pirates beat the Giants this afternoon led by Cole.  Maybe we are turning the corner.  We have won two series in a row and have the Cardinals this weekend.
