2013 Topps MLB Chipz Starling Marte Auto 17/25
When I saw this I had to have it. It actually has a nice weight to it, just like a casino poker chip. The set had a great auto checklist in which all were numbered to 25. I'm guessing since a lot of people collect poker chips there are good ways to protect and showcase the piece. I knew nothing about this set when I ran into this searching for Marte cards on eBay. Time to search for a cool display case!
Hope everybody is enjoying the draft. Looks like Manziel is going to be waiting a while.
A unique piece of memorabilia for a player who had a unique walk off inside the parker the other day.
ReplyDeleteSince it was reviewed I've been hearing people call it a "wait off" homerun.
DeleteAnother blogger sent me a Jacoby Ellsbury (not signed). They had these at WalMart in my area. I've so far resisted the temptation to buy some.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if I would ever go out of my way to buy a box. I was surprised at the quality. Maybe I'll fish around for the other Pirates.
DeleteI have not seen these before...pretty cool!
ReplyDeleteIt is kind of quirky, but I like it. I probably won't buy anymore.
DeleteVery cool oddball. I wonder if any A's or Padres have signed chips.
ReplyDeleteThanks Fuji! I don't think so on the autos. I believe Gwynn had a relic.
DeleteAwesome unique item!
ReplyDeleteThanks man! Had to have it when I saw it.
