Nice Patches

Triple Threads is one of my favorite sets so whenever a nice Pirate card pops up I try to get it.  This is a 2010 triple All Star patch of Freddy Sanchez /9.  I've owned this card for a couple of years so I don't remember the exact price, but my guess is around the 35-45 range.

Freddy was a personal favorite of mine as he accomplished a lot in his short time in Pittsburgh.  He had multiple All Star game appearances and a batting title.  It was a shame the Pirates couldn't keep Freddy, but he was traded to San Francisco in 2009.  He played a key role in helping the Giants win the World Series in 2010.

      It's weird....I went several years without seeing that card and then two popped up within a month of each other. I was happy to pick that up since Freddy was one of my favorites. All those mid 2000's Pirates are cheap pick ups.
