2005 SP Legendary Cuts Bill Madlock 1/1
I love the picture Upper Deck used for this card. How can you not love the pill box hat and old school warm up jacket? The four time batting champion is one of my favorites from the time period as he has a nice signature and is easy on the wallet.
Anybody have any extra Pirate cards around? I have a ton of trade bait that has yet to make it on the blog, most of which are relics and autos. Just shoot me a message and we can work something out.
Thanks for checking out the blog!
Awesome card. Love me some Mad Dog. He's one of my favorite third basemen of all-time. My question is... where are his stars?
ReplyDeleteHa. That is a great question
DeleteMad dog! Who could forget the 1979 season, then the Steelers too! What a time for the Burgh. I have to say I wish they would bring back the hats.
ReplyDeleteI like the hats as well. The Bucs are wearing the 1971 jerseys on Sundays you figure they could work the pill box hat in the rotation somehow.
DeleteI got these if you have any interest?

Shot you an email. I'll do some digging for some Phillies cards.
DeleteLove that card. The design is great but the highlight has to be those Pirates unis. Those unis are one of the primary reasons I collect Dave Parker as a Pirate. Great card!
ReplyDeleteIt is a great look! Ill have to see if I can find you a dave parker.
