2016 National Treasures Colossal Neil Walker /25
When I initially looked at the checklist I just assumed Walker would be featured as a Met. Needless to say I was happy when this popped up in a search. What made this even better was it only cost a little over $5.
I hope some of you are moderately interested in this set as I picked up a few nice cards as trade bait too.....
Thanks for reading.
National Treasures is great. That's a ridiculous patch for the price (and I was also surprised to see him as a Pirate in this post).
ReplyDeleteYeah that was a pleasant surprise. Just glad it didn't say Mets but have the Pirates jersey.
DeleteMan... it's crazy to see patches like this sell for so cheap. It's good for us, since we're buyers who appreciate nice patches. But dang... it's not good for those looking to sell.
ReplyDeleteNo, you definitely don't want to hit a Neil Walker card in a product like National Treasures.
DeleteLove Natl Treasures! Brand I'd never bust. So many great deals on the secondary market if you are willing to wait. Looks like it paid off for you! It's a beauty!
ReplyDeleteNational Treasures would be nerve racking to open. I've only opened one high end box in my life and I didn't really enjoy the process.
DeleteThat is an incredibly fantastic patch for $12!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure their are plenty of football sets like that too. It is so fun to find pc guys on the cheap.
DeleteThe National Treasures release is one of my favorite high end sets. The cards are missing logos, but they are so well done it kind of makes up for it.
ReplyDeleteI can easily look the other way on logo-less cards if they have huge patches like that.
DeleteThat is a stunning card. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThanks Peter, I was happy to find it at a cheap price.
