Cobra

I'm finally caught up on all my trade packages that I received in the past week.  Thanks again to everybody who sent cards my way.  Bob Walk the Plank is all about trading so it was a blast to receive so many great cards.  

2005 Prime Patches Dave Parker Patch Auto /36

This card popped up on Ebay recently and I had to have it.  For $26 shipped the auction was mine and just a couple days later it was in hand.  I was happy with the price as I was willing to go a good bit higher. Patch cards of the older players are hard to come by and when they show up they usually command a premium price.  This makes for one of my nicer Cobra cards and a welcome addition to the collection.

    Great card! Prime Patches Portraits is a great set. Now that I see that it reminds me of the recent Leaf Trinity cards with the awesome patches plus autographs. Excellent Pirates black/yellow swatch there, and Parker has a real nice signature.

      I really liked the Leaf Trinity cards as well. I loaded up on Pirates last year.

      Thanks Tony! It could have easily been a terrible overpay if someone else would have stepped up the bidding.

    Jose Tabata, former Yankees prospect. I remember that trade. Jose, Jeff Karstens, Daniel McCutchen, and Ross Ohlendorf , for Damaso Marte and Xavier Nady. I enjoyed watching Nady play for the Yankees. Thanks for the comments, over at The Parade. I am now a regular, on the Plank. Great blog!
