Nolan is a Pirates fan like myself, but was narrowing his collection to focus on Neil Walker and vintage needs. It took us a while to come to a deal as we got held up because I left town for my brothers wedding. As soon as I got back we hit the ground running and came to terms. Check out the great cards. As a side not Nolan's collection is top notch. He sent some pictures of his vintage collection and it would make you drool.

Thanks a ton Nolan for giving me the opportunity to add so many great cards. I look forward to trading with you in the future. You never know who might be checking out your blog on any given day.
Thanks for reading!
I'm glad you like them. Thanks for the kind words. I hope to trade soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks again. Glad we were able to get it done. They have a good home!
DeleteI pulled a Bob Walk card out of a repack the other day, and I was like, "Yeah! Bob Walk the Plank!" That has nothing to do with this post, but I needed to share it.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see Mario Mendoza represented a little bit here.
Nice! By the way you and I should trade soon.
DeleteWow, that Paul Waner is sweet!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I believe this is the second copy I've added. He doesn't have much in the way of relic cards so I will add as many as I can in trade or if the price is right.
DeleteA great group of cards! Really like the Bat Barrel and Leather Nameplates.
ReplyDeleteI really like the bat barrel card too. It's crazy how thick that card is. The leather card is growing on me. Wasn't a fan of those for the longest time, but in hand they look a little bit better.
DeleteAbsolutely amazing pickups. I do wish they could have found a better signature for that Stargell cut than a Perez-Steele postcard.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mark! I'm glad Nolan gave me a chance to buy everything. I actually have another Stargell cut auto similar to that one. Upper Deck must have got a bunch of those. Visually not the nicest card, but a Pops auto nonetheless.
DeleteGreat cards! I love the Waner bat card! Those early Tribute cards were really nice!
ReplyDeleteThanks Daniel. Always nice to get a card of Big Poison!
