Triple Threads Day

Today was the release of the latest issue of Topps Triple Threads.  I don't open boxes of high end releases, but I always enjoy seeing all the monster cards that were pulled hit eBay.  The thought did occur to enter a group break, but the odds are really against a quality pull.  Someday I will open a case of this stuff!

2012 Triple Threads Andrew McCutchen Multi Patch /3

I do always reserve a little money to cherry pick older Triple Threads releases.  I bought this card a few years back as a buy it now option, but can't remember the actual price I paid.  The card had a small ding on the bottom which the seller pointed out so I was able to get a good deal.  Lots of good color in this card.

      That was fun to watch last night. The funny thing was he thought he had hit a homerun and wasn't even running that hard until he got past first. Thankfully Grady Sizemore wasn't backing up Revere.

      Triple Threads is just too risky to open a box. I just cherry pick the ones I want off eBay.
