Hitting the Road and a Contest

Contest Closed

Tomorrow my brother and I leave for Phoenix to watch the Pirates/Dbacks series.  Its a 4 game series but we are only hitting the first 3 games.  Looking forward to a fun guys weekend.

I plan on meeting Daniel from It's like having my own Card Shop on Friday.  He was nice enough to treat me to a Dbacks game. Definitely looking forward to meeting another blogger in person.  I'll buy you a beer!

To keep up with some trading momentum I figured I run a small contest while I'm out of town.  Just comment below and you are entered.  I'll draw on Monday.

Let's go Bucs!

  2. Wishing you a joyous Arizona trip! I've visited the state several times in my life, always a pleasure. My folks live there. If/when I get priced out of Portland, perhaps AZ would be in the running of a place to which to move. Just be sure you've got a properly functioning air conditioner! Also, I think a bonus contest entry should go to the person who leaves the longest comment. That would just be divine! Again, all the best, Matt. Your pal, Gavin

    1. Also, my aunt-in-law is like the city planner for Phoenix or something. So if you get pulled over for a traffic infraction, just mention my name and you'll be free to go.

  23. Meeting a blogger in person, nice!
I went to Phoenix for a job training session about ten years ago - the best part about it was that it was in February, so I got to miss three nights and two days of winter!
    Enjoy the game!

  30. I'm in. I've only been to Phoenix during spring training myself, which is fun but involves a lot of guys wearing jersey numbers in the 80s. Enjoy!
